This Thursday we're bringing back the big Meltdown Pub Quiz! Join us from 8:30PM for 40+ questions across our usual rounds! Our specialist round to start us off is The Simpsons, so be sure to brush up on your Simpsons Trivia for this one!

Free entry, just buy a drink to take part! Things usually wrap up around 10PM and the winning team will get a round on the house!

We’ll feature five rounds, starting with Gaming, Anime and Comics, then our Specialist Round, then General Knowledge, Music Mashups and our Mystery Round to close things out! Quiz sheets will be given out just before we start the quiz, so be sure to get in early and grab a drink before we start!

Our last open night before XMAS! We’ll be bringing out the naughty or nice wheel again, with festive options on the menu and the bar in full Christmas decor! We’ll also have karaoke from 9PM to midnight with Xmas songs encouraged! Come through for one last night at the bar, as we’ll be closed until the 27th!

Halloween descends upon Meltdown as we celebrate on Saturday 1st! Decorations will be up, staff will be in costume and K Ben on the DJ Decks as we get spooky in the bar!

We'll be open from 5PM and getting into the Halloween portion of the night from 8ish. Best dressed will be picked at 11PM (decided by the staff tribunal of course) and delivered £50 in cold hard satanic cash - it has the queen on it so how could it not be satanic.

Free entry, AND you get a spin of the wheel for a trick, treat, or just plain old death.

As we did Spoiler Warning last week, we’ll be taking a more relaxed approach to con weekend! Tables, sofas, consoles and PCs will all be out, and we’ll be playing a fresh anime playlist on our screens.

You can expect volume to be a lil lower and a quieter night in where you can chat and relax at a table with friends, or play some games.

No entry fee for this one, and we won’t have tokens for cosplayers either. Just come by and have a nice decompress post comicon!

Join us for a Valorant 5V5 this Wednesday! Players of all levels welcome and a round on the house for 1st place (as long as we get more 4 or more teams)!

- You’re welcome to bring your own equipment if you like, bar equipment goes through a lot of rough use and we’re at the mercy of our customers to an extent!

- We’ll be starting at 7PM, if you’ll be later than this we should still be able to get you into the bracket

- This is free entry, but please make a purchase to support the venue before signing up

- You can come as a solo or a team, and we’ll do our best to make things work

We’ll be playing swift play, with FT2 sets throughout. Stage picks will be done via Rock/Paper/Scissors, with the winning team picking the map. The losing team of a game can pick the map after their loss.
